Membership is Q200 per person annually or Q400 per family, including dependent children 18 yrs. and younger.

As of Jan. 29, 2004 the American Society By-laws specify two groups of members:

Regular Members: U.S. citizens residing in Guatemala, 21 years or older:relatives of U.S. citizens through marriage or parenthood and/or widows/widowers of U.S. citizens.

Associate Members: English speaking persons who have a genuine desire to participate in the activities of the American Society of Guatemala (ASG) but who are not U.S. citizens.

All ASG members are eligible to vote in the Annual General Assembly.
